CHINESE SLANGS 热词释义
纠结 (jiū jié)
It means “intertwining of branches” literally. Now it is used to describe a hesitant mental state. When people are in this kind of state, they are usually anxious and don’t know what to do.
Example: “Shall I spend the Spring Festival in warm Hainan or in snow-clad Jilin? This is hard to decide.”
